Privacy Policy

Introduction

OMXHub is a content and free-tools site. It does not ask you to create an account or sign in. We do not collect your name, your email, or any identifying information unless you write to us yourself, and we do not sell data to anyone.

One thing genuinely happens: a Google analytics service measures how the site is used, anonymously, set out in detail below. This policy covers theomxhub.com domain in both its Arabic and English versions.

Usage analytics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are actually read and which find no readers, which is what decides what we write and build next. What reaches us is aggregated and anonymised: we cannot see who you are, and we cannot tie a visit to a specific person.

What is collected in this context typically includes:

• The pages you visited and how long you stayed on them.
• Device type, browser, and operating system.
• Country or city at an approximate level — not a precise location.
• How you arrived: a search engine, an external link, or directly.

Google Analytics 4 does not store your IP address as part of the retained data; it uses the IP only to estimate approximate location and then discards it. You can opt out of measurement entirely with theGoogle Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file your browser stores so something can be remembered between visits. On OMXHub they come from exactly two sources:

You can delete cookies or disable them entirely from your browser settings — Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge all offer this under privacy settings. Disabling them does not stop you using the site: the content and the tools work exactly as before.

Worth knowing: Google's script is not loaded with the initial page. It is deferred until your first interaction, or until the page goes idle — a decision originally made for loading speed, with the side effect that a quick visit executes no third-party script at all.

Contacting us

There is no contact form on OMXHub and no input fields that submit to a server. The contact page holds a direct email address and nothing else, and that is deliberate: a form means an intermediary receives your message, while direct email means it reaches only us.

If you do write to us, we see what you send: your email address, the text of your message, and any attachment. We use it to reply and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list and do not share your message. Our mail is handled by Google, so messages are subject to Google's privacy policy while passing through its servers.

Browser-based PDF and image tools

This is the most important section in the policy, because it contradicts what most people reasonably assume about free online tools.

In practice: when you choose a file, the browser reads it from your disk and processes it in your device's memory using capabilities already built into it, then produces the new file on your machine for you to download. There is no upload step in that sequence, and no upload server exists in this project at all. Closing the tab clears everything from memory.

That has practical consequences worth stating plainly:

• No daily file limit, because there is nothing counting them.
• The tools work offline once the page has loaded, since all processing is local.
• File size is limited by your device's memory, not by a server quota.
• Re-encoding an image strips EXIF metadata including GPS coordinates — helpful when publishing, but worth noting if you need that data.

And if a tool ever genuinely cannot run in the browser, we will say so on its page before you use it, rather than quietly shipping a version that uploads your files.

Data storage

OMXHub is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Workers. There is no database behind it, no account system, and no user storage. We keep no files, no content logs, and no personal records — simply because we have nowhere to put them.

What is stored on your device: your dark or light mode preference, and the cookies Google sets. What is stored at Google: the anonymised statistics, under its own retention periods. Cloudflare, like any host, keeps temporary technical server logs including IP addresses for operational and abuse-prevention purposes; we do not access those for analytics.

Third-party services

These are all the external parties your visit touches, and there are no others:

We use no social-network tracking pixels, no heatmaps, no session recording, and no cross-site visitor identification tools.

Your rights

Since we hold no account for you and no personal data, most of the rights granted by data-protection law — including the EU's GDPR and Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law — are exercised here directly, with no intermediary:

• Access and erasure: there is nothing of yours for us to produce or delete. If you have written to us, you can ask us to delete that correspondence.
• Objecting to tracking: through your browser settings, or the Analytics opt-out add-on.
• Withdrawing consent: by deleting or disabling cookies at any time.
• Data held by Google: managed directly from your Google account.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page when a new section is added to the site or a service we rely on changes. The last-updated date at the top is revised with every substantive change, so it is the reference for whether the version you read is the one in force.

And if a change ever widens what is collected about you rather than narrowing it, we will not simply move the date — we will say so explicitly on this page.
