Most people who say “AI doesn’t work for me” are writing vague requests. The gap between a poor answer and a great one is usually in the prompt:

• Name the role and the audience: “Write as a marketer addressing small shop owners” beats “write about marketing”
• Specify length and format: “About 300 words, in bullets” — without this you get an arbitrary length
• Give it an example: paste writing you like and say “match this style”
• Correct instead of restarting: tell it exactly what was wrong rather than opening a fresh chat
• Let it ask you first: adding “ask me any questions you need before starting” noticeably improves the result

Who it’s for

A good fit if you’re new to AI, work in writing or marketing or content, are a student who needs summaries and explanations, are a developer who wants a quick assistant, or want one tool that covers most tasks.

Not a good fit if your work demands absolute factual precision without human review, you need professional image generation (Midjourney is far better), or you work with very long documents and deep analysis (Claude has the edge there).

Limits and warnings

Hallucination is its most serious flaw. It can give you a book title that doesn’t exist, a statistic it invented, or a fake academic citation — all delivered confidently and convincingly. Rule of thumb: verify anything you’ll base a decision on against an original source.

Don’t share sensitive data. Conversations are stored in your account and may be used to improve the system unless you disable that in settings.

Edit before publishing. The output usually needs a human pass to sound natural and to sound like you — especially in Arabic.

Alternatives

A quick comparison: Claude is stronger on long-form writing, analysis, and code review. Gemini fits better if your work lives inside Google’s ecosystem. DeepSeek is a capable, largely free option if budget matters. The best approach is to run the same prompt through a few of them and judge the results yourself.
